The new promotions will be for non-cannabis products such as Accessories (think BIC Lighters), Food/Restaurants (Pizza, snacks), Consumer Goods (Luxury Items), or Tobacco. We will evaluate each advertising opportunity to ensure that it is appropriate for your customers (for example, no pornography).

We estimate that the new non-cannabis promotions could be approximately 30% of the total airtime. This will not affect the amount of time available for your ads or the duration of the Ad loop.

As cannabis producers continue to struggle to achieve profitability many have started to cut advertising budgets. We have seen this trend continue for the last two years, so we want to be proactive in diversifying our advertiser base. This will allow us to provide consistent and diverse ad fulfillment.

The new non-cannabis ads will also run through the Edgeworth Retail Marketing software and as such you will see an increase in data payments of $10 - $50 per month, per location. However, it will take time to get more advertisers on board, so there may be some peaks and valleys in payments.

Starting Tuesday, May 17th, 2024, we will be running two new promotions over the next month with Cineplex. After that, we are hoping to use the data collected to get more promotions.
